The Meadows, Sandbach

Manor Architecture were appointed by Edgefold Homes to deliver the RIBA Stage 4 technical design for The Meadows, an exclusive development of 13 new homes off Wrights Lane in Sandbach. The scheme comprises a carefully considered mix of two, three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached properties arranged around a landscaped internal street.

Our commission involved developing the approved scheme into a comprehensive and coordinated working drawing package. This included the technical development of the individual house types, construction details and site-wide information, together with the integration of accessibility requirements under Approved Document M4(2) and M4(3).

Particular attention was given to buildability, regulatory compliance and consistency across the house-type range. Core construction details, internal arrangements and key junctions were refined and standardised to provide Edgefold Homes and its site team with clear and reliable information throughout construction.

The Meadows demonstrates Manor Architecture’s ability to take an approved residential scheme through the detailed technical stages, working as an extension of the developer’s in-house team to deliver attractive, practical and efficiently constructed new homes.
