Rilshaw Lane, Winsford

Seddon Homes acquired this “oven-ready” residential development after the previous developer, who had secured planning permission for the site, entered liquidation. Manor Architecture were subsequently appointed to translate the inherited consent into a coordinated and construction-ready technical design for 53 new homes.

The development comprises a contemporary mix of two, three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties. Working within the parameters of the existing planning approval, our technical team reviewed and developed the consented house types to provide consistent, buildable and fully coordinated information across the scheme.

Manor Architecture delivered the complete RIBA Stage 4 architectural package, including 15 individual house-type working drawing packages. Particular attention was given to regulatory compliance, construction detailing and the coordination of materials and junctions, ensuring the information could be used efficiently by both Seddon Homes’ technical team and those delivering the development on site.

The project demonstrates Manor Architecture’s ability to quickly understand an acquired scheme and convert an existing planning permission into robust technical information. Our involvement helped reduce the design risk associated with the inherited consent and enabled Seddon Homes to progress confidently towards construction.
