Centuryan House, Over Peover

Manor Architecture were tasked by an existing client to transform their newly purchased home which encompassed a four-bedroom house as well as a number of other buildings on their estate.

The clients goal was to modernise the existing house and create a small extension to compliment the current house given its traditional design, as well as refurbish the leisure suite and ancillary accommodation. This would also involve the incorporation of renewable technologies for heating and hot water solutions across all the buildings on site.

Assisted by one of our planning partners Wharfe Rural Planning who specialise in rural planning applications, we were able to get the application submitted and determined within a six week period, two weeks earlier than normal.

The proposals were designed to be in keeping with the traditional nature of the existing dwelling and compliment the house with traditional brick features. Externally the hard standing was rationalised to create a clear garden area immediately outside of the family kitchen and day-living areas to allow for a more comprehensive and inclusive garden environment.

Client: Private Individual

Location: Over Peover, Knutsford

Project Budget: £1.1m
